Support and capacity

Support keeps rooms open. It does not decide who matters.

Ramble Room is free to try. Support helps pay for phone minutes, hosting, operations, and the extra capacity that lets more people join when they cannot pay.

The plain model

1. More support means more call capacity. Phone rooms cost money to run, so support helps keep more room time available.
2. Non-supporters are part of the service. The goal is not to shame people who cannot pay. The goal is to keep ordinary conversation reachable.
3. Capacity can scale up or down. If support is high, more calls can be available. If support is low, optional calls may slow down before core safety and active-room flows.

What support should not become

• It should not become a public leaderboard.
• It should not expose who uses subsidized minutes.
• It should not imply that paid members are more valuable people.
• It should not hide recurring charges or renewal terms.

Freedom Pool

Freedom Pool is the internal capacity idea: supported minutes help make room for people who need Ramble Room but cannot always contribute money. Public copy should describe the outcome in plain language, not make members think about accounting machinery.

Before recurring support

Jordan should explain what support changes, whether it repeats, and how to stop. People on fixed incomes should be able to ask questions without pressure.
