The plain truth about privacy

Ramble Room is people talking on the phone. That is the whole product. This page says plainly what we are, what we are not, and what we do with your information. It takes two minutes to read.

We are not a medical anything

Ramble Room is not healthcare. Not therapy. Not counseling. Not monitoring. Not a check-in service. Nobody here is watching your health, and nobody should rely on us in an emergency.

If there is immediate danger

Call 911. If you are in emotional distress or thinking about suicide, call or text 988. We are warm, but we are not a crisis line.

We never collect health information

We do not ask about your health. Not at signup, not in a room, not ever. No diagnoses. No medications. No doctor visits. Nothing a hospital would call a medical record.

If health comes up while you talk — that happens, people are people — it stays in the room. Our systems are built to leave health details out of anything we save. On purpose.

How saying yes works

At the start of every session, Jordan gives a short announcement: who Jordan is, and that your voice is not recorded. There is no button to press and no form to sign. If you stay on the line, that is your yes. If you hang up, that is your no — no questions, no penalty, no call asking why.

What gets recorded — and what never does

Group conversations are never recorded. No tapes, no transcripts of what you said.

A couple of small exceptions, both brief: when you first sign up, you say a short hello so we can set up your account — that recording is deleted after we process it, never instantly. And if you leave a voicemail, we keep it just long enough to handle your request.

What Jordan writes down

Attendance-style notes. Who came, how long they stayed, whether the room felt lively or quiet. That is what helps us make better groups.

Not your words. Not your stories. Not your secrets.

Family updates happen only if you say so

If — and only if — you choose it, a person you pick can get a short weekly email: you came to your sessions, you seemed engaged. Never what you said.

You can turn it off any time. Nobody can sign you up for it behind your back.

Your information is yours

Want a copy of what we have? Ask. Want it deleted? Ask. Email hello@rambleroom.app and it is handled within 30 days.

Reading this for a parent?

Good. Here is the honest deal: we will give your parent something to look forward to and people who notice them. We will not watch their health, we will not replace you, and we will not pretend a phone call is safety equipment. If you need daily check-ins and alerts, that is a different kind of service — ask us and we will point you the right way.

Questions? Email hello@rambleroom.app.
